Photographer Helene Schmitz shows her series "Sunken gardens" and "Carnivores" at Galerie Maria Lund, 48 rue de Turenne in Paris, during the period 22 of October - 4th of December.
In Sunken gardens we find Schmitz deep down in the dark rain forrest of Surinam. Watching the absorption of society in nature, in traces of human presence taken over by vegetation.
The series Carnivores shows the beauty of predator botanicals. The peaceful plants attacking and killing their victims.
